England Handball announce AGM and clubs meeting date

Following a meeting of the Board of the England Handball Association, England Handball has announced that the Annual General Meeting of the organisation will take place at 14.00 on Saturday 2 September 2017 at The Link Hotel, Loughborough. The AGM follows a meeting of clubs that begins at 11.00. The club meeting will provide an opportunity for clubs to discuss proposals for the future development of our leagues and competitions. It is an important chance for clubs to give their feedback and ensure that their needs and aspirations are addressed. Clubs are invited to send up to two representatives to attend the club meeting.

The formal notice of meeting, detailing the resolutions to be covered at the AGM, together with a separate document outlining relevant information for Resolution 1 can be accessed via the links below.

Members will receive the Directors’ and Auditors’ reports for the year ending 31 March 2017 and will have the opportunity to raise any questions with the board prior to voting. The Board recommends voting in favour of Resolutions 1, 2 and 3.

There are elections due this year for positions on the England Handball Board as Chair and a Non-exec Director.  Nominations for these positions are currently being received and will be sent out to members by the end of the week commencing 8 August 2017. A Proxy Voting Form has been issued to enable members that cannot attend the AGM to register their votes.

If you are a registered club and did not receive the email on 10 August that contained AGM documentation please contact Chris Pearce at England Handball.
