England Handball Women's National Cup: Sharks face Loughborough test

Coventry Sharks play Loughborough University in a Super-7 against Midlands Regional Development League clash in the England Handball Women’s National Cup second round.

Loughborough top their league with an impressive six wins from six matches and goal difference of 137. Sharks, finalists in 2015 and 2016, are third in Super-7, and unbeaten in three games. The cup clash throws off at 16.30 on Sunday at Coventry Sports Centre.

West London Eagles and NEM Hawks meet in an all Super-7 tie on Saturday. Hawks have enjoyed recent good form with two straight wins which have taken them off the bottom of Super-7. It’s a different story for Eagles, however, who have lost their last four and not won in five in the league. Throw-off at Sporthouse is at 13.00.
