Men's Super-8: Hawks eyeing top spot

NEM Hawks will be bidding to go top of Men’s Super-8 this weekend when they play Olympia.

Hawks lie in second spot, one point behind Warrington Wolves. They know, as the only match this weekend in Super-8, a draw or a win will take them above North-West rivals Wolves to top spot, although they will have played a match more.

Hawks have lost just once this season but will face an Olympia side looking for revenge after they were beaten by a single goal when the two sides met just a fortnight ago. The London side will also be looking to return to winning ways following two straight defeats.

Throw-off at Leyton on 29 January is at 14.30. In a great double bill it is preceded by the Women’s Super-7 match between the two sides at 12.30.

Get down to the match and watch the most exciting, high scoring, action packed, contact, team sport that can be played anywhere by anyone. Love the sport, share the excitement, be a fan.
