Warrington Wolves top the girl’s North Group, ahead of Cannock on goal difference, as both sides won both their matches on Sunday.
Wolves beat Manchester 15-3, and Nottingham 19-2, while Cannock recorded 18-2 and 7-6 victories over Manchester and Peninsula respectively.
NEM Hawks also impressed as they recorded a 15-1 success over Nottingham in their one game of the day. However, the match was marred by a serious knee injury to Hawks top scorer Hannah Evans. We wish her well with her recovery.
The other match in the group saw Peninsula claim maximum points with a 16-0 win over Nottingham.
In the girl’s South Group 1 Cambridge top the pile after edging out Ealing 7-4. They were given a 10-0 win over Essex in their other match after Essex didn’t fulfil the contest. Ealing, who sit in second spot sneaked past Coventry 5-4.
