Women's Premier Handball League: Champions Olympia travel to Peninsula

Defending women’s Champions Olympia get their Premier Handball League campaign underway with a trip to the north west on Saturday to play Peninsula.

Promoted Peninsula lost their opener against London Angels and will be bidding to notch up their first win of the season. Olympia, meanwhile, will want to start the defence of their title by taking maximum points. Throw-off at Trafford Soccerdome is at 13.30.

Table toppers London GD will be looking to follow up their opening-day win over NEM Hawks with victory over West London Eagles in a Capital City derby at Leyton Score Centre on Saturday. Eagles will also be aiming to build on their successful start to the season when they beat Cambridge in a one-goal thriller. Throw-off is at 14.30 and is followed by the Men’s Premier Handball League match between the two sides.

NEM Hawks and Cambridge meet at Trafford Soccerdome on Sunday. Both sides go into the match aiming to notch up their first win of the season after losing on the opening day of the season. Throw-off is at 12.30 and precedes the men’s Premier Handball League clash between Hawks and Cambridge in a great double bill.
