Women's Super-7: Olympia eye top spot

Olympia host Coventry Sharks on Saturday knowing a draw or win against Coventry Sharks will take them top.

Leaders London GD are not in action this weekend and Olympia, who are unbeaten in six matches with five wins and a draw, will be hoping to take advantage. However, they will face a tough test against third-place Sharks who themselves have a recent record of won three and drawn one – and who beat Olympia by a single goal earlier in the season. A win for Coventry by nine goals or more would take them second. Throw-off at Leyton Score Centre on Saturday is at 14.00.

West London Eagles entertain Cambridge at Sporthouse on Saturday. Both teams are in a poor run of form. Cambridge’s last win came seven matches ago, while it is six matches since Eagles took maximum points. Throw-off 13.00 and is followed by the Super-8 match between the two sides at 15.00.
