Women's Super-7: Sharks head table

Coventry Sharks top Women’s Super-7 following a close win against Cambridge.

The Sharks sneaked past newly-promoted Cambridge with a 33-31 victory to take them onto seven points from three matches.

Defending Champions London GD sit one point behind them after they made it two-wins-from-two following a convincing 24-11 success at London Angels. GD dominated the first half, leading 12-3 at the break. The second half was a closer affair as Angels answered GD’s 12 goals with eight strikes.

A nail-biting contest saw West London Eagles match against NEM Hawks finish 26-26. The stalemate means Hawks lie one point ahead of bottom side Angels. Both teams have played two matches.

Fifth-place Cambridge, who have played four matches are one of four teams on six points. They lie behind West London Eagles, who have played three games, and Olympia and London GD respectively, who’ve both played two matches.
