England Handball is pleased to announce its new Community Activation Fund.
Whilst it is hugely disappointed that adult indoor sport is no longer exempt from the 'Rule-of-Six, we are focussing on the positive that young people (Under-18) are still exempt and able to play competitive handball.
We are keen to support as many clubs and teams as possible to engage with young people to grow the junior game. This round of the Community Activation Fund will prioritise and focus on (but notbe limited to) projects and activities that engage young people in Handball.
All clubs can apply once to the fund for projects up to £500. The funding can be used to support existing, or to kick start new, junior club sessions. The funding can be used towards equipment, facility costs, marketing, coaching qualifications etc. alongside any Covid-related equipment needed.
