Any coach leading or coaching youth age groups in a solo capacity should have
1 - A valid DBS Check
2 - Minimum - Level 1 England Handball Coaching qualification
3 - Attended and completed a UK coaching Safeguarding and Protecting Children workshop
In order to complete a DBS check please contact Safeguarding@englandhandball.com with:
1 - Full Name of Individual wishing to complete a DBS Check
2 - Full personal email address of individual wishing to complete a DBS check
3 - Their role within the club and where they are operating.
Club welfare officers should attend specific training by the Children Protection Sports Unit - "Time to Listen"
