Following a meeting of the Board of the England Handball Association, I am writing to confirm that the Annual General Meeting of the EHA will take place at 16.00 on Sunday 24 June, following a meeting of clubs.
The venue will be confirmed shortly.
Members will receive the Annual Review and Auditors’ reports for the year ending 31 March 2018 and will have the opportunity to raise any questions on these items with the board prior to voting.
Any members wishing to put forward any items of special business to the AGM must have the support of 25% of the membership entitled to vote (16 of 66 clubs) or the Board. These must be submitted in writing via email to the England Handball CEO, David Meli – email@example.com – by no later than 16.00 on Thursday 24 May. This is in line with Article 65 of the England Handball Articles of Association.
There is an election due this year for a position as a Non-Exec Director on the board of the England Handball Association. Nominations for this position will shortly be sought and will be sent out to members by the end of the week commencing 4 June 2018. A Proxy Voting Form will also be issued to enable members that cannot attend the AGM to register their votes.
