After victory in their last two league outings, over NEM Hawks and Olympia respectively, London Angels will be searching for a hat trick of wins this weekend when they play Cambridge.
The two teams are only separated by three points in the league table, with Angels in fifth place and Cambridge in seventh, so for Angels it is an opportunity to challenge the top four. Angels will be mindful of Coventry Sharks snapping at their heels as the Midlanders are only a point behind the Londoners with a game in hand.
Cambridge will be looking to put distance between themselves and bottom placed Peninsula. In the previous round of league fixtures, Cambridge fell to a respectable ten goal defeat to London GD who are the runaway league leaders this season.
Angels will be hoping their star goalscorers Barbara Csombor and Beata Nagy will be available for the fixture; Cambridge will feel the same about Nikoletta Rau who has been prolific for the East Anglians this season. This could be a high scoring mid table clash.
The match at Barking Sporthouse throws off at 12.30 on Saturday.
