Warrington Wolves boy’s booked their place in the semi-finals of the Under-18 Cup with victory over Oly Cats.
Wolves ran out 26-24 winners in a close-fought quarter-final match. Oly Cats Adam Harwood top scored in the match with nine goals, while Nathan Grant Willims beat the keeper five times. Nate Green found the back of the net six times for Wolves, with Evan Nichol and Ed Irving both scoring five times.
Wolves coach Roza Jozefowicz said: "The Match against Oly Cats was tough. From the first minute until the last minute we knew we had to stay focused and give our best. Every ball counted as was shown with the scores at 10-10 after the first half.
"But we never stopped believing we can do it. The lads did everything they we asked and played together as a team in attack and defence.
"Most of our under-18 players are 16-years-old. This shows the huge potential this group has."
Roza is in her first season coaching Wolves’ Boy’s Under-18s and has taken them to the Super-4 stages in the league, and the last four of the cup.
