Boy's Under-18 League: Hawks crowned champions
NEM Hawks beat Oly Cats 26-18 in the boy’s under-18 finals at Powerleague Trafford.
Oly Cats started well but Hawks soon took control of the match and led 15-9 at the break.
The second period was a closer affair but Hawks never let their advantage slip. ‘Player-of-the-match’ Harry Morley racked up 14 goals, while Hawks keepers Daniel Araujo and Jarred James impressed. Adam Harwood scored five goals for Oly Cats.
Morley was also named ‘Under-18 player-of-the-season’.
