Nottingham made it five-wins-from-five in the boy’s under-19 North League, while Stroud also kept their 100% record in the South West League, and West London Eagles stay top of the South East League.
Nottingham won a thriller against Warrington Wolves. The match - a re-run of the 2019 final - saw the East Midlands side came out on top after the scores were tied at 12-12 at the break, to win 20-19. Nottingham won their other match against Loughborough 29-6. The victories see Nottingham pull seven points clear of Wolves in second and Shropshire in third, although they’ve played a game more.
Stroud won both their matches, beating Somerset Spartans 33-15 and Poole Phoenix II 25-16. Those victories see them four points ahead of Guildford Sabres in second. Sabres lost their match to Poole Phoenix 22-8, a result that moved Phoenix off the bottom of the table into third.
In the South League all matches were forfeited. Cambridge and Carshalton Titans were awarded 10-0 wins over Chelsea, and West London Eagles were given a 10-0 win against Bucks Bullets.
