Boy's Under-19 Competition: Titans win South East top-two clash

Boy’s Under-19 South-West leaders Stroud fought out a thriller against Poole Phoenix, while Carshalton Titans won the battle of the top-two in the South East League.

Stroud and Phoenix could not be separated as the match finished 15-15. Poole led 10-8 at the break, but Stroud clawed back the deficit as the teams shared the spoils. Poole enjoyed a good weekend as they also beat Guildford Sabres 24-17. However, Sabres beat Phoenix II 23-6 to keep up the pressure on Stroud. Stroud head the table on goal difference, but have a game in hand over Guildford. Storm Dennis meant that Somerset Spartans didn’t travel to the games and their matches against Stroud and Phoenix II were postponed.

Titans beat West London Eagles 24-11 and top the table ahead of Eagles on goal difference. Eagles match against Cambridge was postponed with Storm Dennis meaning Cambridge also did not travel to the games.
