The play-off positions in the Boys' Under-19 North and South Leagues are known after the final round of league matches.
West London Eagles, Bucks Bullets, Stroud and Poole Phoenix booked their places from the South League 1. Warrington Wolves, Nottingham, Shropshire and NEM Hawks secured their spots from the North League.
Eagles and Bullets met in a top-of-the-table clash, both teams having won their other four matches. Eagles won 28-12, thanks in no small part to a dominant first-half performance that saw them lead 14-3.
Elsewhere, in South League 1 Poole Phoenix beat Islington 23-16 to finish fourth. Stroud made doubly-sure of third place with a 34-12 win against Cambridge. Islington and Cambridge also met in a bottom-of-the-table clash.
North table-toppers Wolves’ took maximum points against Olympia Cannock, after Cannock forfeited their match. Cannock also forfeited their match against Loughborough. Meanwhile, Nottingham made sure of second spot following victories over NEM Hawks and Shropshire. They beat Hawks 24-21, and secured a 31-28 victory over Shropshire. The other match in the North League pitched Hawks against Shropshire, Hawks running out 25-18 winners. Hawks, in fourth, finished one point behind third-place Shropshire.
The play-offs will see Eagles play Hawks, Wolves meet Phoenix, Bullets take on Shropshire, and Stroud face Nottingham.
Meanwhile, Carshalton Titans will top the South League 2 with a perfect record after Guildford Sabres forfeited their match against Titans. Olympia forfeited their game against Chelsea, while Somerset Spartans beat Bideford 31-18.
