Competitions Advisory Group recruitment process re-opened

Following discussions at the Club Conference, the England Handball Board has reopened the recruitment process to seek applications from individuals who would like to be considered for a role on the Competitions Advisory Group.

There were insufficient numbers of applicants to fill the available positions after the first round of recruitment. Therefore, the Board is hoping that more people will be encouraged to put themselves forward for consideration to support this key area of our governance structure.

The board is particularly keen to receive nominations from anyone who has experience in any of the following areas:

  • Competition development/delivery
  • Rules and regulations and
  • Facilities.

Applications will be reviewed by the Nominations Committee and suitable candidates will be invited for interview in line with England Handball’s published policy on recruitment.

In line with its policy on Equality & Diversity, England Handball is keen to encourage applications for all positions from women and members of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic groups as well as people with a disability.

A copy of the role description for the position, including full duties, functions and a person specification and related terms of reference for the Advisory Group are available on the jobs section of the England Handball website or can be downloaded at the links below.
