West London Eagles beat NEM Hawks 42-40 in a thrilling Women's National Cup final that went to two periods of extra time.
From the start the action flowed from end-to-end.
Eagles held a slender 14-13 lead at half time.
The second period saw the sides continue to trade goals until in the last quarter of normal time Eagles began to pull clear, holdong a 28-24 lead with 10 minutes remaining.
However, Hawks refused to lie down, bringing the scores back to 31-31 at full time.
The tension continued to build and after extra time the match was poised at 35-35, taking the match into a second period of additional time. Those final five minutes saw Eagles edge ahead and secure the cup in emotional scenes.
Noelly Chevallier top scored in the match with 16 strikes, while Beth Wilbraham headed the scoring charts for Hawks, beating the keeper on eight occasions.
