England Handball confirm Director departures

England Handball has confirmed the departure of directors Geoff Woodall and Bill Baillie following the AGM that took place at the beginning of September.

Geoff stepped down after completing nine years across two terms in a variety of roles on the Board. Latterly, in his position as Director of Memberships & Disciplinary, he was responsible for overseeing the introduction of the Competitions Disciplinary Committee. This helped bring independence and rigour to this important area of the organisation.

Bill Baillie left the Board having completed four years as Director of Performance & National Teams. During this time England Handball’s talent pathway grew into a much broader programme. This included the implementation of five regional academies and a national academy based around the Sporting Excellence Programme. In addition a variety of teams have taken, or are taking part, in international tournaments. Thanks to Bill the continued development of our talented players has an excellent base from which to build.

The Board would like thank Geoff and Bill for their service to England Handball and wishes them every success for the future.
