England Handball Issue 'Phase 1' Return-to-Play Guidance

England Handball has issued 'first phase' guidance on a return to play, based on the latest government advice.

Further updates of return to play can be found here

The government announced in early June that, in England, groups of up to six people from different households can now meet outdoors, as long as they remain two metres apart at all times. The good news for handball is that this means up to six people from different households can now take part in handball activity together in outdoor spaces, whilst observing social distancing rules.

Following the announcement, England Handball has developed a comprehensive protocol for handball players in England on what they can do, must do and can't do. The organisation is constantly in contact with Sport England, who are liaising with the DCMS, and will update this protocol as and when new government guidance is issued.
