England Handball seeks Non-exec Director applications

As part of the continuing development of its governance structure, and to ensure it meets the requirement of the Code of Sports Governance, the board of England Handball has agreed to move from its current format of portfolio directors to one based on skills, knowledge and experience.

On this basis, the board is seeking applications from individuals who would like to be considered for two vacant Non-Exec Director positions.

The board is particularly keen to hear from anyone who has experience in any of the following areas:

  • Performance Sport
  • Legal/Governance
  • Commercial/Sponsorship and Marketing.

The positions are available on a four-year term in line with the England Handball’s Articles of Association.

A copy of the role description for this position, including full duties, functions and a person specification, together with a skills and experience questionnaire are available via the links below.

Applications are sought from suitably qualified individuals through the submission of a CV, a covering letter which outlines their suitability for the role, and why they wish to be considered, and a completed skills and experience questionnaire.

This should be sent to David Meli, CEO (david.meli@englandhandball.com) by no later than Friday 21 October 2017.
