England Handball takes course to Netherlands

England Handball is very proud of its coaching course offering. This includes our highly popular Introduction to Teaching Handball course, which equips teachers and teaching assistants to deliver the basic skills to children in a school environment.

One of our Tutors, Adam Colley, recently had an amazing opportunity to deliver the Introduction course to a school in the Netherlands.

Adam said: “It was a really great experience to deliver the Introduction to Teaching Handball course at The British School in the Netherlands. Chris and the team there were welcoming, really enthusiastic and engaged throughout. Their handball knowledge was pretty good so it was easy to make the fine tweaks to tailor the course to their needs. I really hope they enjoyed it as much as I did!”

Christopher Wade at The British School in the Netherlands commented: “The course was very well organised and led by Adam Colley. He delivered it with an excellent tone and pitched it at the right level for our staff. It was a good balance of theory and practical application, which not only kept it interesting but also meant that we were instantly applying our learned knowledge. I would thoroughly recommend this to any school, club or department looking to extend or consolidate their teaching or coaching.”

England Handball Coaching and Workforce Manager Miriam Beales said: “It has been a great opportunity to share our school course programmes outside of the UK. It sounds like it has been an amazing experience for all to learn and develop. England Handball is open to opportunities so please get in contact with us.”   To find out more about our courses for teachers, coaches or referees please by clicking here
