Essex Hurricanes looking for two new coaches

Senior mens and youth team head coaches wanted!

Job Overview

The coaches for both roles will be responsible for the planning and running the respective teams training sessions. Currently, each team has one training session per week lasting around 90 minutes. In addition, the coach will attend all matches and have overall responsibility for team selection and tactical decisions to be made throughout the game. The men’s team will be competing in the EHA’s National League South competition and the National Cup. Youth teams will be involved in a number of tournaments throughout the season.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for each role will ideally have the following qualifications, although not compulsory to be considered for role:       

  • Level 2 Handball coaching qualification (must have Level 1 at least)
  • First Aid training
