Olympia Cannock are top of the Girls’ Under-18 North League after they beat Nottingham, while NEM Hawks and Warrington Wolves finished all square again.
Cannock eased past Nottingham 17-1.
Hawks and Wolves played out another draw, the third in two years. A young Hawks side held the lead several times. However, in the end nothing could separate the teams. Jemma Brocklehurst and Phoebe Wilson excelled in goal.
Hawks won their other game comfortably, beating Manchester 22-8. Nottingham edged past Manchester 16-15 in a thriller.
Meanwhile, in the South the play-off places have been settled.
There will be two matches at Stoke Mandeville. Hackney GD, table-toppers in Group 1 face Olympia, fourth in Group 2. The other game sees a clash between Group 1 second-place side Coventry and Stroud, third-place finishers in Group 2.
The other two play-off games take place at Harewood. Poole Phoenix and Cambridge meet after finishing first in Group 2 and fourth in Group 1 respectively. Somerset Spartans take on Ealing in the other match. Somerset claimed second spot in Group 2, while Ealing came third in Group 1.
The play-off matches will be played on 18 December.
