Shropshire and NEM Hawks made it four-wins-from-four in the Girl’s Under-19 North League, while Bideford Blacks head the South League.
Last season’s finalists Shropshire beat Peninsula 49-2, and won 24-6 against Nottingham. Hawks were 26-21 victors over Warrington Wolves, while they ran out 13-7 victors over Olympia Cannock. Nottingham beat Trafford 20-16, while Trafford also lost to Wolves 34-16, and Cannock won 29-3 against Peninsula. Shropshire top the table on goal difference, with Hawks in second. Cannock, with 10 points, are third.
Bideford edged past Poole Phoenix 20-19, but lost their 100% record with a 22-24 defeat at the hands of defending champions Stroud. Stroud have played just two matches but have won them both. West London Eagles are second thanks to a 25-15 win against Essex and an 18-11 victory over Cambridge. There were two wins for Medway Falcons, 21-18 against Cambridge, and 32-16 over Essex. Medway are third.
