Holders Wolves book semi-final place
Holders Warrington Wolves booked their place in the semi-finals of the Men’s National Cup with a 30-26 win over Cambridge.
Wolves led 18-11 at the break. Cambridge enjoyed the better of the second period but couldn’t reduce the deficit. Stephen Clarke and Jacob Maxted top scored for Wolves with seven goals apiece, while .for Cambridge Alejandro Garcia Costa also netted seven times.
The semi-finals of the cup, to be played on the weekend of 22/23 April are:
- Warrington Wolves v London GD
- NEM Hawks v Oxford University
