It’s also the first time England Handball has run the schools finals alongside the pinnacle event for the juniors and seniors’ club game - showcasing everything from those starting out on their handball journey to some of the best the country has to offer.

Held at Nottingham University’s Sir David Ross Sports Centre, it will feature the conclusion of the following tournaments:

Men's National Cup

With hundreds of teams from having competed during a long season, only the very best will feature on what’s sure to be an exciting weekend of action.

The event will be open to the public to attend, free of charge.

No tickets will be required.

Stacey Andrews, National Partnership Manager at England Handball, said: “We cannot wait to welcome players and teams from across the land to Nottingham for this year’s National Finals weekend.

“Not only will this be the culmination of a season’s hard work for England’s best regional and schools teams, but it will also be a celebration of our sport’s determination, skill and togetherness to get through the pandemic.

“We invite everyone – lifelong lovers of handball and newcomers - to come along and see for themselves the country’s most exciting, high-scoring team sport in action.”

The finals will all be held under one roof at the David Ross Sports Village, in partnership with the University of Nottingham.

The weekend will start with Under-15 finals on the morning of Saturday, June 18, before the Men’s and Women’s National Cup Finals that afternoon.

On Sunday, June 19, the Under-16s and Under 19s will compete throughout the day, with the School Finals also taking place in both the morning and afternoon.
