Maidstone take inaugral Kent Primary School title
Maidstone were the winners of the inaugural Kent Primary Schools Handball Championships.
The competition, at Canterbury Christchurch University saw 120 kids from years five and six from 11 areas take part.
The standard of play was impressive, as was the enthusiasm of the children for this exciting, high-scoring, action-packed team sport
It is intended that the competition will become fully integrated within the Kent School Games Programme.
As well as Maidstone the other teams were, Herne Bay, Dover, Thanet, Howard, Gravesham, Dartford, Shepway, Sittingbourne and Sheppey, Canterbury, and Ashford.
