NEM Hawks kept the pressure up on the top three in the Premier Handball League with victory over West London Eagles.
The North-West side ran out 30-25 winners, after leading 17-11 at half time.
Mauro Cardano top-scored for Hawks with eight goals, while Aaron Bradley-Shankar weighed in with seven strikes. Eagles’ Deividas Krukauskas beat the keeper eight times for Eagles.
The win moves Hawks onto 18 points, just two behind third-place London GD, and with a game in hand on them and top two Nottingham and Olympia. Eagles are in fifth place on 11 points, one point ahead of bottom two Carshalton Titans and Cambridge, but have played a game more than both those teams.
