Men’s Premier Handball League leaders London GD play Nottingham on Sunday, while second-place Olympia face NEM Hawks on Saturday.
The other match on Saturday sees Cambridge take on Carshalton Titans, while Warrington meet West London Eagles on Sunday.
GD top the table ahead of Olympia on goal difference, with both teams winning their first two matches. GD take on a Nottingham side who sit in third place, and are one of a number of teams on four points, following a comfortable win over Warrington Wolves last time out. The match at the Copper Box Arena throws off at 12.30. It is followed by the Women’s Premier Handball League clash between GD and Reading in a festival of handball.
Olympia host NEM Hawks. Hawks, in fourth, got their season motoring in round two with victory against Cambridge. Olympia, like GD, have got their season off to a flier, beating Nottingham and Carshalton. Throw-off at Barking Sporthouse is at 15.00. It is preceded by the Women’s Premier Handball League match between the two sides in a double header.
Cambridge and Carshalton meet, both looking to get back to winning ways after defeats in week 2. Both teams won their openers, Cambridge against Eagles and Titans against Warrington Wolves. Throw-off at Moulton College is at 14.30. It follows the Women’s Premier Handball League match between Cambridge and London Angels in another great double bill.
West London Eagles and Warrington Wolves lie in seventh and eighth respectively after losing their first two matches. Both teams will go into the match looking to secure their first win of the season as they look to move away from the wrong end of the table. Throw-off at Oldham Leisure Centre is at 14.30.
