West London Eagles make the trip to the Copper Box Arena tonight with third place in Men’s Super-8 in their sights.
Eagles lie behind Olympia on goal difference and know they will leapfrog their London rivals whatever the result. However, Eagles after defeat in their last two matches, against Olympia and NEM Hawks, Eagles will be bidding to get back to winning ways. Victory will open up a three-point gap between them and Olympia, although they would have played a match more. It would also take them level on points with second-placed Warrington Wolves. Wolves though would have two games in hand and a better goal difference.
Defending champions GD have struggled this term with three defeats from seven matches. However, they have two games in hand on all the teams around them. Victory in those two games could see them climb up the table to sit among the frontrunners.
Throw-off is at 20.30. Get down to the match and watch the most exciting, high scoring, action packed, contact, team sport that can be played anywhere by anyone. Support your team, follow the sport, share the excitement, be a fan.
