The second week of Super-8 sees Warrington Wolves and Cambridge look to make it two wins from two as they meet at Powerleague Trafford.
Wolves beat new-boys Nottingham 37-21 on the opening day of the season. Cambridge claimed a 28-22 win over defending champions London GD. Throw-off on Saturday is at 17.30.
West London Eagles will also be aiming to make it a 100 per cent start when they entertain Olympia at Sporthouse. Eagles won 28-25 against another promoted side, Coventry Sharks, on the first weekend of the campaign. Olympia are playing their first match of the season and will be hoping to get going with a victory. Throw-off on Saturday is at 15.00 and follows the Women’s Super-7 match between the same two teams.
Sunday sees a Midlands derby between Coventry Sharks and Nottingham. Both teams will be gunning for maximum points after losing their first matches of the season. The match at Coventry Sports Centre throws off at 16.30. Before that match is the Women’s Super-7 match between Sharks and London Angels at 14.30.
