Warrington Wolves moved top of Men’s Super-8 on goal difference ahead of West London Eagles after they beat NEM Hawks and Eagles won against Nottingham.
Wolves moved onto 13 points after coming out on top in a close-fought 32-30 victory at against their North-West rivals. The win at PowerLeague Trafford also brought to an end the last 100% record in Super-8 after Hawks had started the season in storming fashion.
Eagles came away from Sutton Bonnington with a 35-24 success against Super-8 new-boys Nottingham to sit second in the table.
Olympia won a nail-biting encounter against bottom side Coventry Sharks 26-25 to move up to fourth in the table on 11 points. They are one point behind Cambridge but have played a game less.
