Men's Super-8: Wolves go top

Warrington Wolves drew with Olympia in Men’s Super-8, although the result was enough to see them go top.

It finished 23-23 in a thrilling encounter at Powerleague Trafford. Wolves move above North West rivals NEM Hawks on goal difference, with a match in hand. Olympia remain in fourth on 24 points, three points behind Wolves and Hawks.

Defending champions London GD made it three wins in a row, beating Nottingham 35-25.  GD move to within a point of Olympia with a game in hand. Nottingham remain in seventh, but three points ahead of bottom side Coventry Sharks.

Sharks lost 38-27 to Cambridge. The result brought Cambridge their first win in four matches, after draws against NEM Hawks and GD, and a one-goal defeat against Wolves. Cambridge remain in fifth, while Sharks are still looking for their first league win of the campaign.
