The draw has been made for the quarter finals of the Mens’ National Cup.
2017/18 winners London GD face a Capital-City derby against West London Eagles, with Eagles drawn as the home team. GD came through a tough test against Poole Phoenix in the last 16, while Eagles won a close-fought contest against Loughborough University.
Warrington Wolves, who prior to last season had won the cup five-times-in-a-row, face a trip south to take on Carshalton Titans. Titans, the only non-Premier Handball League side in the last eight, beat top-flight side Brighton in the last round. Wolves came out on top against a determined Oxford University side.
Last years losing finalists NEM Hawks, who booked their quarter-final place with victory over Coventry Sharks, host Olympia. The London side reached the last eight after winning against Liverpool.
Cambridge defeated Chelsea in the last round. Their reward is a home tie against Nottingham, who won against Islington.
The quarter-final matches will be played on the weekend of 19/20 January.
