Mens' National Cup semi-finals preview

NEM Hawks play Cambridge and Warrington Wolves face West London Eagles in two North versus South Mens’ National Cup semi-final clashes this weekend.

Both matches take place at Birchwood Leisure Centre on Saturday in a fantastic afternoon of top-level sport.

Hawks were runners-up in the 2018 National Cup and will want to go one better in 2019. They knocked out Olympia in the quarter-finals in a high-scoring match that saw 76 goals scored. Cambridge came though against Nottingham by ten goals. Hawks and Cambridge will throw off at 16.30 on Saturday at Birchwood Leisure Centre.

West London Eagles beat 2018 Cup winners London GD in the last eight. Wolves, who previous to 2018 won the National Cup five times in a row, ran out winners against Carshalton Titans in the quarter-finals. Throw-off is at 14.30 on Saturday at Birchwood.

The winners of the semi-finals will go forward to the National Finals, at Derby Arena on 12 May.
