Reading Lions make the short trip to Guildford Sabres, and Manchester host Essex in the semi-finals of the Mens’ National Shield this weekend.
Sabres, who top the South East 1 Regional League, will be hoping to upset the odds when they play Reading of the National League South. Sabres overcame Newcastle Vikings to bbok their last-four spot, while Reading beat Bristol. Throw-off at The Edge Leisure Centre in Haslemere is at 14.30 on Saturday.
National League North side Manchester go into the game on the back of a league defeat to Coventry Sharks, a reverse that ended a three-match winning run. The north-west side beat Stroud to secure their spot in the semi-finals. Essex reached the last four courtesy of a victory against Bucks Bullets. The match at Chester Northgate Arena throws off at 11.30 on Sunday.
The winners of the semi-finals will book their place at the finals at Derby Arena on 11 May.
