Mens' Premier Handball League: Cambridge edge past Nottingham

Cambridge edged past Nottingham 32-30 in the one Mens’ Premier Handball League match at the weekend.

Cambridge led 18-14 at the break. Nottingham fought back in the second period. However, despite Francisco Pereira adding nine goals to his 11 strikes in the first half, Nottingham couldn’t quite claw back the deficit.

Alejandro Garcia Costa beat the keeper 10 times for Cambridge, while Zsolt Majoros found the back of the net nine times.

The result sees Cambridge leapfrog Nottingham into sixth spot.
