Mens' Premier Handball League: Olympia eye victory to keep title race alive

Olympia host Nottingham in the Mens’ Premier Handball League knowing they must win to keep their title challenge alive.

Olympia are five points behind leaders GD with a match in hand. Victory would take them within two points, and a title-deciding clash with GD in the last game of the season. Anything less than a victory and GD will be crowned champions. Olympia returned to winning ways last week against Cambridge after defeat against Warrington Wolves in their previous match. Nottingham have not won in five matches, although they drew against West London Eagles in their last encounter. Throw-off at Leyton Score Centre is at 16.30 on 21 April.

Earlier in the day Cambridge and NEM Hawks meet at Sporthouse. Hawks are in great form, unbeaten in four matches, and winning their last three. Victory will see them move into third spot above Warrington Wolves. Cambridge, meanwhile, have lost their last two games. Throw-off is at 14.30.
