New Referee Level-1 Course goes Live

England Handball has created a new Level-1 Referee Award, which has now gone live.

The Level 1 Referee Award is the first step into refereeing handball.

The new course consists of e-learning modules, a practical session, and gaining refereeing experience.

England Handball has confirmed an introductory offer to England Handball member clubs wishing to send members on the course. To support workforce development within clubs, England Handball has reduced the cost of the course to £15 per person from £50 per person for members at England Handball clubs. The introductory offer will run until 21 September 2020.  Clubs have been emailed a link to take advantage of this offer. Please check with your club secretary for more details. The Level 1 Referee Award is the first step into refereeing handball.

Once Return-to-Play is underway England Handball will be in contact to book the practical sessions in. Normally this would be pre-booked. However, due to the pandemic this has not been possible.

Please be aware after booking onto the course learners will receive an email with their log in details for the e-learning system within the hour.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact Miriam Beales.
