England Handball has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is ready to make a big impact. We are seeking an outstanding individual with the skills to work collaboratively across the organisation to support a variety of exciting programmes to help us deliver our strategy. You will be involved in all aspects of the sport development pathway, from grassroots through to talent, workforce development, competitions and our network of clubs.
Salary: £17,520 (pro rata)
Location: Home based with some requirement to travel to various locations as applicable to
undertake your duties. You will not be required to work outside the United Kingdom.
Contract: 30 hours per week fixed term to 31st March 2022 - possible contract extension
depending on future funding. Immediate start available

The programme support officer will be responsible for providing high quality support across the development, coach education, talent pathway and events areas of the organisation to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of projects and programmes. The priorities of the role will be
continuously reviewed to ensure it reflects the needs of the organisation.
This will include (but not limited to) handling of enquiries, processing data through daily use of online databases and systems, organising, supporting and deploying handball personnel (including players, paid staff and volunteers), supporting the development and delivery of new project ideas,supporting the organisation and delivery of the coach education programme, attending handball competitions and events, ensuring accurate and timely financial processes are followed and supporting the management of our social media channels. In addition, the postholder will provide
data for reports to funding partners as and when required.
The successful candidate will be a great communicator with a proven ability to confidently liaise with internal colleagues and a large and diverse customer audience through all types of media. You will be excellent at building and developing strong and effective relationships. As a self-motivated individual you will need the capability to prioritise your workload and have a proven ability to work effectively to deadlines with conflicting requirements.
