Regional Academy Development Coach Vacancies

England Handball has vacancies for Development Coaches for:

• North West Boy's Under-15s Regional Academy
• Midlands Boy's Under-15s Regional Academy

Salary: £40.00 per month, payable on receipt of monthly invoice, inclusive of expenses.

Hours: One session per month

Type of Contract: self-employed, fixed term 1 September 2020 – 31 July 2021

The Development Coach will work with players taking their first steps into the performance pathway environment. The newly created Under-15 Regional Academy Development Programme is targeted at players competing in the England Handball National Schools Competition and England Handball Under-14 League. It will allow opportunities for more players to access the pathway, over a longer period of time in the best environment we can provide.

The Development Coach will work closely with the Regional Academy Manager and Performance coaches to deliver training activities in line with the England Handball FTEM and British Handball Player Blue Prints.

Applicants will have experience of coaching youth Handball and possess or be working towards UKCC Level 2. They will be willing to engage in informal and formal CPD programmes to help meet agreed targets.
