Under-19 Finalists decided following play-offs

Stroud will play defending champions Olympia Cannock in the girls’ under-19 final while the boys’ final will pitch 2016/17 champions NEM Hawks against Warrington Wolves.

The teams won through to the finals at Derby Arena on 5 May at the play-offs in Birmingham on 22 April. Stroud won their quarter final against Warrington Wolves 23-16, and then beat Shropshire 22-19 in the semi-finals. Cannock edged past Ealing 16-15 in the quarters, before a 26-16 semi-final win over Poole Phoenix. In the boys’ competition Hawks won 25-13 against Ealing in their quarter-final. They then faced a semi-final against Carshalton Titans, who they beat in last year’s final, winning through 22-17. Wolves took their quarter finals against Poole 28-21. Their semi-final against Oly Cats was a thriller, Wolves securing a 25-23 win after the match went to extra time. Make sure you book your ticket for the finals.
