Vacancies: Athlete Tutor Assessors x 2. Regional Academy Coach (South East)

England Handball has vacancies for two Athlete Tutor Assessors, and for a Regional Academy Coach in the South East.

England Handball has two vacancies for Athlete Tutor Assessors

Salary: £1,650 per annum plus travel expenses  

Hours: Four x mandatory training days per academic year. Four hours per week (remote)  

Term: Fixed term to 31 August 2018

The main focus of the role is to  support subject leads in the delivery of the programme units, including facilitating/supporting workshops and setting appropriate assessment plans via OneFile (online platform). The assessor will be responsible for co-ordinating, recording and reporting athlete progress via the 12-week review process. Athlete progress should remain in line with their individual learning plan (ILP).

Regional Academy Coach South East

England Handball is looking appoint a Coach for its Under-16 South East Academy.

Salary: £120 per month, payable on receipt of a quarterly invoice

Location: South East (London)

Type of Contract: Part time, fixed term to 31 July 2018

Closing Date: 19 December 2017

Interview Date: TBC

The Regional Academy Programme is for aspirational 14-16 year olds currently competing at club level. Its purpose is to provide the regions players with most potential an additional competitive training and competition environment and with it, the best opportunity to progress through the England Talent Pathway.

The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in leading and delivering a holistic and integrated athlete development programme that aims to develop and prepare individuals (14-16) to reach the very highest levels of domestic/international performance. This includes the profiling of players and aiding their development alongside the England Handball FTEM framework - and preparing them for the England Handball Sporting Excellence Program. They will work closely with the Regional Manager to ensure that our best young players make an effective transition through the talent pathway.
