Cambridge travel to table-toppers London GD in the Women’s Premier Handball League on Saturday.
Cambridge sit fourth in the table but go into the match with just one win and three defeats so far this term. Victory or a draw would see them climb to third, although all teams but GD would have games in hand on the East Anglian outfit. They could even move into third on goal difference, ahead of West London Eagles, if they lose – as long as it’s not by more than 16 goals.
GD are still to lose in the Premier Handball League this term and will be bidding to extend their lead at the top to five points. They beat promoted Peninsula last time out and have an impressive positive goal difference of 40.
Throw-off at Leyton Score Centre is at 14.30. Get down to the match and watch the most exciting, high scoring, action packed, contact, team sport. Support your team, cheer on your heroes, share the thrills, be a fan.
