Women's Premier Handball League: Hawks Fight Back To Earn Draw Against Eagles

NEM Hawks staged a second-half comeback to draw 27-27 against West London Eagles in a thriller.

Hawks trailed Eagles 16-11 at the break, but reversed the scoreline in the second period to come away with two points.

Lydia Edgar scored six goals for Hawks, while Athalia Imbanga weighed in with five strikes. Naomi Bell found the back of the net five times for Eagles.

Hawks remain bottom, on seven points, but just two points behind fourth-place London GD, with two games in hand. Eagles stay in third on 11 points, just one adrift of second-place Cambridge, with a match in hand.
