Women's Premier Handball League: Olympia Back On Top

Olympia reclaimed top spot in the Women’s Premier Handball League with victory over NEM Hawks.

Olympia ran out 33-31 winners in a nail-biting contest. They led 16-14 at half time, maintaining that advantage in a second half where the teams could not be split. Hawks' Sarah Carrick scored an impressive 12 goals, while Athalia Ibanga beat the keeper seven times. Olympia spread the goals around, with Alina Popescu, Malwina Speck, and Denisa Le Mon all finding the back of the net five times.Hawks sit bottom of the table but have played just two matches so far this term.
