Olympia moved three points clear at the top of Super-7, but were pushed hard by NEM Hawks in their victory over the North-West side.
Olympia ran out winners by a single goal as it finished 26-25. However, they had to fight back from a 16-10 deficit at half time. Despite the defeat Hawks will take heart from the result and look for it to kick-start their season.
Defending champions London GD moved up to second after beating West London Eagles 32-16 in a Capital City derby. Eagles went into the game with an eye on top spot, knowing that a win would see them head the standings, at least for 24 hours.
GD have a game in hand on Olympia which if they win, with their current superior goal difference, would see them go top.
