Womens' University Championships preview

Round three of the Women’s University Championships take place this weekend with matches in the north, south and midlands.

There are four matches at Northgate Arena in Chester. Leaders Leeds Beckett University play Liverpool John Moores University. John Moores also take on bottom side University of Manchester. Third-place University of Liverpool also have two matches against Lancaster University in second and bottom side University of Bangor.

Leyton Score Centre hosts the south matches on Sunday. In Group 1 third-place UCL have two matches, against University of Middlesex and Chichester University 2. Meanwhile, bottom side University of Kent 2 meet leaders Bath University 1.

In Group 2 Oxford University face Bath University 2, while University of Kent 1 take on Cambridge University 1.

The Midlands matches take place at Birmingham Play Football Centre on Sunday. Loughborough University 1 have two matches in Group 1, against University of Warwick and University of Birmingham 2.

In Group 2 there are also two games for University of Nottingham 1 and University of Worcester play each other and both face another match, against Loughborough University 2, and University of Birmingham 1 respectively.
